Growing up I never saw myself working as a photographer. Though I always loved to create I never saw it as a possible career choice. But in my early teens I quickly realized that I was drawn to the artistic classes in school, like drawing and design. As a result I started taking classes like TV Production and classes in Photoshop. In 2009 I moved to Karlshamn, a small town in the south of Sweden to study what I thought was going to be Graphic Design, but instead I ended up choosing Photography & Film. From there I started to live and breathe photography and building my portfolio. In 2011, before I even had finished my education I started my own company and did assignments as a freelance photographer.
The things that inspire my work can be anything from colors, faces, fashion to places and feelings. I am influenced by old paintings when it comes to the romanticism, style, drama, light and narrative. For me it is not only about creating a beautiful photograph, but to create a sense of an underlying story, similar to what you can see in a painting. I always have an urge to grow and develop as an artist, so that my next work will be better than my last one. Whether it is an assignment or for my personal portfolio, I always put my heart and soul into everything I do. So when I create photographs I feel like my creations reflect a part of me. Therefore photography is not only my passion but a part of who I am and I am grateful everyday that I get to have my hobby as my profession.
I am always looking for new and challenging assignments and no job is too big or small for me. So if you have any questions, job offers, or comments on my work, do not hesitate to contact me. If you appreciate my work do not forget to follow me on Facebook!
